The hotel had a decent breakfast with a good variety of options. The location was convenient and close to restaurants and shops. the wifi connection was excellent, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay.
The decor in the hotel was very outdated, with old tiles and bathroom fixtures. The TV in the room was a tube TV with limited channels and a fuzzy picture.

I was completely blown away by this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful. When I booked it, it was the cheapest room I could find in the area on very short notice. When my taxi arrived, I thought I may have been delivered to the wrong hotel. I expected budget and found elegance. The lobby is luxurious and comfortable with coffee and a computer for guests to enjoy. The staff was very friendly and professional. The lounge has a bar (and a "bar menu") pool tables and lots of friendly people. There is a salon onsite. There is a nice outdoor pool and a hot-tub. There is also an elevator, laundry facilities, soda/snack machines, no smoking or pets. Possibly the best value I ever experienced while traveling.
I liked everything about this hotel.

The tv was stuck on one channel, no hot water, just tepid, the lights over the bed wouldn't work and the tub didn't drain. Other than that, it was okay.

I was close enough to walk to my daughters' house. Easy access to main road Rt. 36.
The limited choice of foods at breakfast. The remodeling going on in the rooms being offered to us.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and good pillows. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby restaurants. One more advantage was the friendly staff who provided quick and efficient check-in.
There were some negative aspects to our stay. The lighting in the room was not very good, making it quite dark.

I think this place could really pop... if some effort was made to update..cleaning painting, etc especially hallways. Loved the old paneling look... 70s feel... but needs lighting.
Hallways were dark. Elevators dank. Laundry room smelled. Rooms smelled like curry. Ventilation compromised.

Decent wifi. Walking distance to campus.
No cold water, no hot water, only warm water. Nobody at front desk for check-in, had to wait a while. Some light bulbs burnt out in room. Shower drained slowly.
